Having only been on the team for just over a month I was a little worried about hosting this month but, hey, strike while the iron’s hot and all that,

so here I am!

I would say I’m a “white space” scrapper, I don’t do fussy and I absolutely hate cutting out 

(isn’t there an app for that yet?)

June´s Blog Host - Kerry Lambourne

Hello out there I'm Kerry and I'm your blog host for June.

A bit about me - I'm a forty something mum of 4, wife of 1, living in Yorkshire, England.  I'm an original member of the Punky Scraps team.  I've been scrapping since 2004 when my youngest child was born and although I really enjoyed the idea behind the craft I didn't really know what style was me until I started experimenting with the messier side.  I LOVE mists and paints and stencils and masks and anything that helps with the messier side of things.  I do still like white space on my layouts but don't always quite achieve it.

Hi there, punky people!

I'm a 38 year old (in a few days) nurse, who's living in the southern part of Sweden with my husband and our two kids.

I've been a punky rebel since september 2011. And I've been scrapbooking since 2006, when I wanted to do my daughters first-year-album. I loved it from the beginning, and it's the first hobby I've kept through the years... Nowadays, I can add running as a hobby too. Thats something I thougth would NEVER happen!

My scrapstyle then? I'm clean and simple and I love mixed media! Gesso, modelling paste, stencils, stamps, paint, mist and so on... Pretty much all that's messy!;-P That's the best part of the punky scraps, you could never get too messy!

Besides  the punky team I'm designing for the Swedish inspiration blog Skrotboken.

A few random facts about me:

• I can't create until I've tidied up - sometimes the whole house. But I refuse to employ a cleaner.
• I like rock n roll - my singing, dancing, dressing and even my arting is inspired by the 1950s.
• I desperately want blue hair, but instead it is red.
• I have had a number of psychic experiences, but they've become less frequent as I've gotten older.
• Listening to the blues makes me happy.
• I have nine tattoos and counting.
• I love reading, cartwheeling, baking, complete sets of things, cherries, and sitting on the sofa with a cup of tea, a book and my husband and his guitar.
• I like waterfalls and rivers, romance (although I'm not romantic at all), blogs, dreaming (as in sleep dreaming), and lemonade.
• I want to learn the harmonica, have green fingers, travel far and wide, have a bigger craft room, and get some chickens and maybe a goat too.
• I dislike narrow-mindedness, politicians, exclusion, imbalance, gossip, bad drivers, karaoke, and monkeys.
• Oh, and I HATE bananas.
