Challenge 44- Sketchy Sketch!

Good Day good people!

I LOVE me some sketches. Failing mojo? Lack of think time?
Just wanna play but don't know where to start?
This sketch is for YOU.
Marie Mison has a very special sketch for us today playing with shapes and plenty of negative space.

The sketch is deceptively simple and very beautiful. I really want to see how the team handled the multiple straight lines and the text box (or ignored it completely which is also totally valid!).

Team B show 'em what you've got!

                                                                             Sara

My daugther waited and waited to loose her first tooth, and then finally one day she did... She was so happy! <3 I used a patterned paper for background and different stencils with gesso and mist, and instead of more papers I used different kinds of ribbon and lace.

I love creating masculine pages.  It is so much fun rummaging through small items in the house to find embellishments for a boy's lo.  My favorite place is the toolbox, that's where I found the silver washers :)  I got those dog tags from my son's room, maybe they were from new shoes/some piece of new clothing.  Anyway, they were discarded onto the floor so they became mine lol.  I got a small chain to tie them together and used those silver washers to cover the holes I punched in the paper.  The bottle caps have metal stars inside, smothered in mod podge.  I did some stamping, misting and inking to distress this page some more.  Mixing up different pattern papers is also a lot of fun to make it more masculine, guys usually never wear anything that matches ;)

I used the new Echo Park This and That collection for this page. I LOVE the "boy" pack- it has all my favorite colors in it and the mod camera print is to die for. I have this random photo of my daughter from when she was around 8 months old and I always laugh when I see it because- she was such a happy baby. Now almost three, she's avoids the camera. The smiles come but rarely when I point the camera at her.

Now get creating people!
Link us into your genius- we wanna see!
