Challenge 47

Hey, everyone!! It's time for a sketch challenge. Here is the sketch created by our fearless Punky leader, Natalie:

And here are the layouts that Team A created:

I love sketches with white space and this one indulged me! A sketch and white space a plenty!!

My little girl with all that baby fat looks like she is ready to explode..
Used gesso and glimmermist and peices left overs...and the bling cupcakes is an old sticker.
I love these colors togheter.

The sketch this month is so cool that I decided to create a page as closely to the sketch as possible. The photo is of some seedlings that sprouted last spring and were the first plants I'd ever tried to grow on my own. I was very proud that they were able to grow. I used mists in lime green for the plants and black to make the green pop.

When I saw this paper in my monthly scrap kit I knew it was absolutely perfect for this sketch. This sketch was so much fun to work with. I don't know if I ever had an easier time with a page coming together. I used paints, mists, modge podge, gesso, and some molding paste. For a less opaque look spritz with water and wipe with a paper towel.

I had so much fun with Nat's fun sketch...and while I didn't follow it super closely, it definitely put me on the right track!

I absolutely loved this sketch and wanted to stick closely to it, but I have an obsession with
not allowing white space?!  This is a layout about my sister and how she has been transforming her life after about 15 years of being totally off course. I used a wedding wordlet from scrap fx "something old, something new" as a statement of how she has taken that old life and is making a new one!

The sketch for this challenge was fantastic to work with. As soon as I saw it I just knew I would be using the blue Prima butterfly I have been saving.

Don't forget to link your project up to the sidebar to be eligible for this month's prize!!
