Punky Challenge 43 - Those FABULOUS shoes!

HALLO my good people!
Michelle here with a FABULOUS new challenge!
Get a load of THIS:
BOOYA!!! I LOVE the tiny bit of green on the heel! TRES FAB!

Show us what you got Team B!

I used a Pink Paislee Core Impressions paper I've been hoarding for a while. Chevrons are so awesome!
When I saw the photo I immediately thought of feminine and green. I tried the water, glue and glitter splatters trick
but it's not as pretty when using chunky glitter- will have to locate fine glitter because I really loved doing this. Also- I think a different glue would have dried clear- this was Modge Podge and it still shows a bit.
I LOVE the print on the shoe but couldn't find my skullies- darn! Next time!

I kind of like shoes... So obviously this picture spoke to me! I took a picture of my favourite summershoes last summer. Not very glamorous, I know, but they are soo comfortable! :-) I used the colours on the shoe and added some purple. I stamped the flowers with a Penny Black stamp, and used punchinella as a stencil. Lots of stickles on the roses to increase the glamour...

This shoe said "drama" to me, so I focused on that, and the green. :) This photo is from 1999, when I was performing an opera scene. A really nice man who was watching our dress rehearsal, came up and shot this photo, and then sent me a copy. I love how he caught me all sprawled out on the floor in a flowy gown, with that super dramatic look on my face. So I titled it "My Diva Moment"
The papers are Cosmo Cricket from this month's Jenni Bowlin kit, and the grungeboard swirl is Tim Holtz "Harlequin. I used gaffer and tissue tapes, and plenty of splatter (which was a random decision) with distress stain and acrylic paint. The leaves are from the Michaels floral department, and I shaped them using hot glue and my heat gun.

The shoe itself inspired me. With the flowers and romantic feeling of high heels, I created this page. I specifically did a photo shoot of my dh and I on our 2nd Anniversary of 8 years (we got married on Feb 29th), focusing on our shoes for this challenge. This page isn't my normal "punky" side, but I just went with it. I still did a lot of distressing, masking, inking and used some steampunk elements.

This rockin' cool high heel made me go for colors, feeling and details. I love my fluorescent colors - just look at this green together with the stamped, stenciled and painted black as well as the painted grey and the small details in white. You cannot cover up such a lovely dazzling color so I inverted the colors in the shoe pattern for my layout.

Colors? Obviously!
Skull? A must for me!
Roses? Well, they are there too!
Punk? Always!
Rock? Yes, it's party play time!
Naugthy or Nice? My lips are sealed...
